✅ Two Al-Badr Militants killed in Shopian encounter Srinagar, November 18: Two Al-Badr militants were killed in a Nocturnal gunfight which broke out between militants and goverment forces in Rebon area of Zainapora in South Kashmir's Shopian district on Sunday. Reports reaching GNS said that a joint team of Army's 1RR, CRPF and SOG Shopian cordoned off Rebon area of Zainapora after having specific information about presence of some militants in the area. As the joint team of forces zeroed on to the suspected house the hiding militants fired upon goverment forces triggering an encounter. A Senior Police officer told GNS that the two militant bodies have been recovered along with one AK-47 and a Pistol from the encounter site. As per sources the one slain militants has been identified as Nawaz Ahmad of Ribon(MA Urdu Student) who joined militancy June this year however the other militant's identity is yet to be ascertained.
